Siamp UK boosts sales force

Siamp UK has strengthened its presence in the North & Scotland by appointing plumbing industry expert Steve Thomas.

Steve, who joined the sanitary fittings company this month, has worked in the heating and plumbing industry for more than 40 years in a career that has included recent roles at PTS, Faucets Northern Ltd and the Wolseley Group.

Steve will be covering the North of England & Scotland and Siamp believes his experience fits perfectly with the company’s ambitious plans.

Ashley Shires, managing director of Manchester-based Siamp UK said: “Steve has a great deal of experience working within the merchants sector over the last 40 years - he’s the ideal person for the role and will help strengthen our on-going strategy to build relationships and help increase brand awareness.”

Steve’s role will involve strengthening relationships with Siamp’s existing customer base of independent merchants and national chains, as well as targeting new business.

Steve said: “Siamp is a huge name in the industry and I’m thrilled to come on board. I look forward to getting to know customers and building some fantastic relationships that will benefit us all.”

Siamp’s UK business supports sales to sanitaryware manufacturers worldwide and to distributors and merchants across the UK.
